I’m Aidan Tracy, an actor and filmmaker based in New York City. When asked by my nursery school teachers what I wanted to be when I grow up, my answer was simple: “A bug.” While my teachers didn’t know exactly what to make of my response, they knew I might be weird enough to choose a career in the arts.
Born and raised on the lower east side of Manhattan, I decided to not only get out of the city for college but to go to the literal middle of nowhere, a town called Athens, Ohio. After getting past the culture shock, I found Ohio University to be a perfect fit for me. In addition to taking acting classes and performing in plays at OU, I found a love for film. Initially being drawn to the acting aspect of film, I eventually found a love with the art of filmmaking.
These past few years, I have spent most of my free time acting in, writing, directing, crewing and watching films. I have always been drawn to telling unique stories. Storytelling has the power to change lives. Whether it be in film or theatre, I want be a part of creating this change.
